Lessons and Training
WinDancer farm is a privately owned full service boarding and training facility, we pride ourselves on the quality care we provide to you and your horse. At WDF we tailor feeding, turnout and general care to meet your horse's specific needs. Our training philosophy allows each horse to progress at their own pace, and we believe that in teaching horses thorough flatwork and jumping basics they are then able to progress easily and maximize their athletic potential.
Horses are taken in for training at WinDancer; we offer training packages ranging from full time, to part time or occasional training sessions for horses and their riders. Horses of all levels and abilities are welcome, from starting under saddle to competition. Please inquire for rates.
Kate offers lessons at our farm, or will travel for clinics. Giving students the education they need to become independent competent riders and competitors is our goal. WinDancer students are successful dressage and eventing competitors! We are passionate about teaching our students to become well rounded horsemen, in riding and superior horse management, and whatever your goal, be it your first dressage test, or your first Three Day Event, we would like to help and support you towards that goal! Always using correct methods with effective instruction, Kate has not only successfully trained her own horses, but many clients' horses, from beginner to advanced level. WinDancer also has available school horses for those students beginning in riding.
